About Byblos: Byblos in Lebanon is one of the world's oldest cities, lived in for around 7,000 years. It was a busy Phoenician port that shipped cedar wood and papyrus all across the sea. The Greeks named their books after Byblos, and from that word we get the name 'Bible'. The alphabet that became our ABCs spread from here
